Paysafe Group’s Skrill has teamed up with Leeds United, a top-flight English football club.
Skrill will be the club’s official partner, with its logo prominently displayed at the team’s home stadium, Elland Road.
Leeds will also incorporate Skrill as a payment method for its official online shop.
Moreover, Leeds and Skrill will collaborate to produce exclusive content for supporters and promote it on the club’s website, mobile app, and social media channels.
“Both our brands have a strong and devoted fan base in the UK and globally, and we are thrilled to give back to our supporters through this collaboration,” stated Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, Skrill’s CEO at Paysafe, added: “We have learned from our football partnerships that fans value the advantages of Skrill, and our services are important to them.
“We will leverage this new relationship to enhance the club’s payment system and our own valued customers and partner network, making it a mutually beneficial agreement.”
Leeds also has a partnership with SBOTOP, the online gambling operator that is the team’s primary shirt sponsor.
