Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) has declared the appointment of a seasoned gaming industry leader, Nelson Parker, as its new Senior Vice President of Strategic Development.
Parker will be tasked with pinpointing, assessing, and executing growth opportunities and strategic new business ventures in his new position.
Reporting directly to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Carol Anderson, Parker will initiate and examine growth opportunities and collaborate with all functional divisions to finalize implementation.
Parker joins MGE from hotel investment firm Driftwood Capital, where he held the position of Managing Director for over three years.
Before that, Parker served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Penn National Gaming and spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Hotel and Casino Development for Hard Rock International.
Parker’s previous roles include Vice President of Development for Foxwoods Resort Casino and Director of Corporate Development for Agassi Gaming.

Nathan possesses over two decades of expertise in crafting growth strategies for companies within the gaming and non-gaming sectors. His vast knowledge, encompassing the complete global gaming market, Native American gaming, hospitality and lodging, will contribute to MGE’s ongoing prosperity.
Recently, MGE also declared the appointment of Raymond Lin as their new Chief Legal Officer.
Raymond Lin will provide legal guidance to the executive leadership team, encompassing a variety of business transactions, regulatory issues, international and domestic policy decisions, and business, operational and legal strategies.
Raymond Lin will also spearhead the legal, compliance and risk management team to ensure that all present, future and strategic endeavors align with the best interests of MGE and the Mohegan Tribe.
